About the role

Oro Safety Glass Sdn Bhd is seeking detail-oriented QA/QC Officer to join our team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive quality inspections and tests on raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions to improve quality of our final goods.
  • Maintaining detailed quality records and documentation, and preparing quality reports for management.
  • Collaborating with production teams to implement quality control measures and provide training on quality procedures.
  • Run daily, monthly and yearly test of final goods, and preparing reports of the test.
  • Make sure machine and equipment is properly calibrate for the year.
  • Candidates must be familiar with ISO QMS, familiar with SIRIM and CIDB PC is added advantages.
  • Performs job-related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques and practices
  • Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa both oral and written
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve quality objectives
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
