1. Responsible for management of all aspects of financial/accounting functions inclusive of financial planning, annual budget cycle, tax planning, forecasting activities & etc 2. Manage eight team members' activities including daily transaction processing includes invoicing, payment processing, monthly bank reconciliations, creditor and debtor reconciliations, cash management, and ensure all payments are checked and processed accurately and timely. 3. Ensures accurate and timely day-to-day accounting which, and Lead and manage a team of 3 staff to ensure the organisation's accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, and consistently to ensure that a complete and accurate monthly trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement are completed on a timely basis (full set of account consist of Holding account: AxiCom Sdn Bhd, Subsidiaries account: AxiTech, Senggara, Insight, Tower and Quest). 4. Responsible in monthly and yearly reporting which include financial statements and cash flow statements. 5. Responsible to monitor monthly bank reconciliations complete properly. 6. Liaise with bankers, tax agents, auditors, company secretary, IRB and other related statutory bodies. 7. Liaise with the auditors on annual audits and address any accounting and control issues proactively. 8. Responsible to ensure accounting records are prepared by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), local laws and regulations and company policies as well as substantiated with proper documentation and supporting evidences. 9. Develop standard operating procedures and ensure the implementation of internal controls within the organization; 10. Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure relevant WIP are accurately claim and objectives are achieved. 11. Providing guidance and solution to junior finance staff members on complex accounting issues. 12. Coordinates company secretary matters. 13. Perform ad-hoc projects, analysis and forecasting related to accounts activity. 14. Performs other appropriate duties upon request by the Director. Job Requirements 1. Bachelor of Accounting (Hons.) 2. Minimum 5-7 years of overall accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing financial operations. 3. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 4. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA) is highly preferred. 5. Proven experience in full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. 6. Strong background in tax planning, audit management, and statutory compliance (GAAP, IFRS, local regulations).
