Key Responsibilities: Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the development and execution of financial forecasts and budgets for our international markets. Conduct in-depth analysis of global financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Create and maintain sophisticated financial models to support long-term international business strategies. International Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review consolidated international financial statements, ensuring compliance with both local and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting for all international subsidiaries and business units. Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes for international operations. Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, local tax laws, and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS). Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior management and executive teams. Support international expansion opportunities, capital investments, and financial restructuring. Support mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures in international markets, including financial due diligence and integration planning. Risk Management & Cross-functional Collaboration: Identify and mitigate financial risks in international markets, including currency, credit, and geopolitical risks. Partner with international business units (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to align financial goals and support decision-making. Collaborate with legal, tax, and treasury teams to ensure compliance with international financial regulations and tax laws. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Provide guidance and training in international finance processes and best practices. Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee tax planning and ensure the organization’s tax filings are accurate and timely.
