Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Optometrist to join our newly established optometry store. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with a passion for sales and customer service. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and educating patients on eye health. In addition, you will play a crucial role in promoting our services and products, driving sales, and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities • Conduct Comprehensive Eye Exams: Perform thorough vision assessments and ocular health evaluations. • Diagnose and Treat Eye Conditions: Identify and manage various eye diseases and vision problems. • Prescribe Corrective Lenses: Determine and prescribe appropriate eyeglasses and contact lenses. • Promote and Sell Optical Service/Products: Actively market and sell eyewear, lenses, and related products. • Provide Personalized Product Recommendations: Offer tailored advice based on customer needs and preferences. • Educate Customers on Eye Health: Inform patients about proper eye care and product benefits. • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals to contribute to store revenue. • Build Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong rapport with patients and customers. • Manage Patient Records and Inventory: Maintain accurate documentation and oversee product stock. • Ensure Excellent Customer Service: Address inquiries, resolve issues, and create a positive store experience Qualifications: • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. • Valid optometry license in [Your Region/Country]. • Proven experience in conducting comprehensive eye examinations. • Strong sales and customer service skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented and organized. • Experience with optical sales is a plus. • Knowledge of current trends in eyewear and optical products.
