The Assistant Registrar is responsible for assisting the Registrar in the daily operational and administrative management of the Registry. The role involves active participation in student engagement, activities, student affairs, hostel management, and examinations while also serving as a support system for the warden and student services. Key Responsibilities: Student Engagement & Affairs: • Assist in organizing and managing student activities and engagement programs. • Support student affairs, including addressing student concerns and welfare. • Collaborate with faculty and departments to enhance student experiences. Hostel Management & Warden Responsibilities: • Oversee hostel management, ensuring a safe and conducive living environment for students. • Act as a liaison between students and management regarding hostel-related matters. • Enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain discipline and order. Examinations & Academic Administration: • Assist in managing examination processes, scheduling, and coordination with the Exam Department. • Support the administration of academic records, including student registration and transcript issuance. • Ensure compliance with examination policies and university regulations. Administrative & Operational Support: • Assist in maintaining and updating student records in E-IPTS, EMGS system, and the International Office. • Provide administrative support in compliance with university policies and accreditation requirements. • Support the Registrar in preparing reports, statistical data, and documentation for regulatory bodies. Regulatory & Accreditation Support: • Assist in coordinating accreditation visits from MQA, MOHE, and other relevant bodies. • Ensure adherence to university policies and higher education regulations. • Support the formulation and implementation of procedures aligned with regulatory standards. Other Duties: • Participate in faculty committees and professional development activities. • Provide assistance in special university events and student activities. • Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Registrar or management. * Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages will be an added advantage
