We are looking for a proactive and reliable Merchandiser to join our FMCG team. In this role, you will be responsible for traveling extensively to distributors and retail store to ensure that our FMCG products are well-stocked, visible, and effectively promoted. You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers to maximize product availability and sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Field Visits to Retailers & Distributors: Regularly travel to third-party retail stores and distributor locations to ensure products are well-stocked and displayed according to company guidelines.
  • Product Merchandising & Placement: Ensure FMCG products are correctly placed on shelves, according to planograms and merchandising standards, to enhance visibility and appeal.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with distributors to restock products, and ensure that retail outlets have sufficient inventory of our FMCG products.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with store managers, retail staff, and distributors to optimize product placement and ensure a seamless supply chain.
  • Promotional Activities: Implement and manage promotional displays, signage, and point-of-sale materials in retail locations to boost product visibility and sales.
  • Market Intelligence: Collect and report on competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences gathered from retail visits.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on product displays, stock levels, and any challenges encountered during visits.

Job Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in FMCG merchandising, field sales, or retail support.
  • Knowledge of retail environments, third-party stores, and distributor networks.
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with external retail partners.
  • Ability to work independently and manage frequent travel to various retail locations and distributors.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple locations.
  • A reliable mode of transportation for travel to third-party retail stores and distributors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail management, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
