SENIOR PROJECT PLANNER

Develop, manage, and oversee master project schedules for complex construction projects, integrating design, procurement, and execution phases. Lead the planning function across multiple projects, ensuring schedules are realistic, resource-loaded, and aligned with contractual requirements. Perform detailed critical path, float, and risk analysis, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective measures. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to collect updates and ensure schedule alignment with on-ground realities. Provide strategic planning input during tendering and project initiation, including baseline schedules, manpower histograms, and phasing plans. Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports, dashboards, and forecasting tools (e.g., S-curves, earned value analysis) to senior management. Monitor schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle, tracking key milestones and reporting variances against baselines. Ensure integration of time, cost, and resource plans, working closely with cost control and procurement teams for optimal planning accuracy. Lead schedule risk assessments, scenario planning, and recovery strategies for delayed activities. Mentor junior planners and contribute to continuous improvement of planning procedures, templates, and best practices across projects.
