Career Pathway: IT Executive or Application Support Engineer

Location: Bangsar South, KL (Accessible by LRT Kerinchi (Kelana Jaya Line)

Job Description: Intern - IT Support

1. End-User Support

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and system performance issues.

2. Asset Management

  • Set up, configure, and deploy workstations, peripherals, and IT equipment, ensuring compliance with IT policies.
  • Maintain and update the IT asset inventory to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Assist in the proper disposal and decommissioning of IT assets

3. Account & System Management

  • Assist in managing Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace accounts, ensuring secure authentication and access control.
  • Manage printer SMB accounts, ensuring seamless print and scan management.
  • Maintain user account records, access logs, and security settings in compliance with IT policies.
  • Assist in identity lifecycle management, including new user onboarding, role transitions, and account deactivation for offboarding employees.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot authentication issues, multi-factor authentication (MFA) configurations, and access-related concerns.

4. Learning & Personal Development

  • Enhance communication and problem-solving skills by interacting with users and IT professionals.
  • Gain hands-on experience in IT troubleshooting, system administration, and asset management.
  • Develop expertise in technical documentation, including drafting SOPs, guidelines, and workflow processes.
  • Explore networking fundamentals, VPN configurations, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to improve service delivery and IT operations within the organization.
