Job Title: Haulage Coordinator (Operation)

The Haulage Operation Personnel is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the transportation of goods and materials efficiently and safely. This role involves managing logistics, scheduling deliveries, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, and liaising with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff to optimize haulage operations.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent in business or a departmentally related field.
- A minimum of two years of responsible experience in haulage operation.
- A minimum of two years of experience in supply chain and logistics industries field.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods from pickup to delivery points.
- Schedule and assign trucks and drivers for deliveries, ensuring efficient route planning.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Maintain communication with drivers to provide necessary support and address any operational challenges.
- Track shipments in real-time and provide updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Handle documentation related to transportation, including invoices, waybills, and delivery notes.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and warehouse personnel to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Resolve issues related to delays, vehicle breakdowns, and other operational challenges.
- Keep records of haulage activities and generate reports for management analysis.
- Coordinate with freight and forwarding team, port and depot to monitor container status and ensure completion gate in before deadlines.
- Ensure containers are picked up and delivered within free days and meet cost efficiency.
- Liasing with service provider to ensure shipment completion.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of transport regulations and fleet management.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Understanding of Ports Regulation and Monitoring
- Familiarity with route planning tools, GPS tracking systems, and methods to reduce delivery time and fuel consumption.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and fuel management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of port required documents (e.g., waybills, delivery notes, consignment invoices), record keeping, and reporting procedures.
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and how warehouse operations interact with transport scheduling.
- Understanding of cost-saving strategies, budgeting for fuel, repairs, and operational efficiency.
