Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and job offers.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, prepare offer letters, and conduct orientation programs for new hires.
Employee Relations
- Handle employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support disciplinary processes and grievance handling in accordance with Malaysian labor laws.
Payroll & HR Administration
- Assist in monthly payroll processing in collaboration with the Finance or Payroll team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS.
- Handle leave, medical, and attendance records.
Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs, including scheduling, registration, and feedback collection.
- Support HRDF claims and manage training records.
Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with the Employment Act 1955 and other local regulations.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and documentation for audits or government submissions (e.g. EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian labor laws (Employment Act, EPF/SOCSO, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRDF (HRD Corp) and payroll software.
