Role & Responsibilities
As part of the operation team , your role and responsibilities requires you to be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions which involve standing for long periods of time, being exposed to high or low temperatures, and being susceptible to injuries. You may also be required to work in shifts, and operate kitchen machinery. Specifically, your roles and responsibilities includes, but are not limited to :
- Report to work punctually and always keep the place in a neat and tidy environment and in accordance with proper health and sanitation standards.
- Adhere strictly to the SOP of the company’s operations.
- Food service counter attendants serve customers at food counters / tables and finish preparation of simple food items in restaurants, cafés, hotels, fast food outlets, cafeterias, hospitals and other settings.
- Tasks include –
- Serving food to customers at counters / tables;
- Ascertaining the products desired by customers, assisting them in making choices and taking orders;
- Cleaning, peeling, slicing and trimming foodstuffs, using manual and electric appliances;
- Preparing simple food items and reheating prepared meals;
- Portioning and wrapping food or placing it directly on plates for service to patrons;
- Packaging takeaway food;
- Stocking refrigerators, salad and buffet bars and keeping records of the quantities of food used;
- Receiving payment for food items purchased.
- To ensure that the items produced are of high quality and consistent with our SOP.
- To assist in clearing, cleaning tables, plates, bowls, cutleries and ensuring cleanliness of the restaurant.
- To assist at the service station – ensuring there is sufficient cutleries, sauces. And also keeping/packing before closing.
- To assist whenever needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
