Sales Assistant/Retail Associate

The Sales Assistant/Retail Associate duties and responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively.
• Process returns and exchanges according to store policies.
• Promote and sell products to customers.
• Stay informed about product details, including features, benefits, and prices.
• Keep up to date on promotions, sales, and new product arrivals.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Stock shelves, ensure products are well displayed, and manage inventory.
• Maintain product displays and signage according to store standards.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle cash, credit, or debit payments.
• Issue receipts and refunds when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of sales and transactions.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Support team members during busy periods and assist in training new employees.
• Assist with inventory control, including stock checks, restocking shelves, and managing stock levels.
• Report low stock or damaged items to management.
• Assist in setting up sales promotions, events, and special offers.
• Inform customers about ongoing promotions and discounts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Evening shift
