  • Ensure that food items are prepared according to standardized recipes and under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Cook and plate dishes under the supervision of a higher-ranked chef.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality, flavor, and presentation standards.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Keep the workstation clean and organized
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and tools in good working order, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring ingredient levels and informing senior chefs when supplies need replenishing.
  • Properly label, store, and rotate food items to minimize waste.
