Chief Financial Officer

Job Descriptions: - Lead the Finance team and work closely with the CEO and senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s expansion and growth plans. - Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and long-term planning. - Lead and manage the process of setting up new business entities or subsidiaries in other countries. - Ensure compliance with local regulations, legal requirements, and financial standards in each new market. - Continuously explore new markets and opportunities for business expansion. - Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and management to ensure healthy liquidity for business operations and expansion. - Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and key stakeholders. - Evaluate investment opportunities and provide risk assessments. - Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies to support company growth and expansion plans. - Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations. - Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors. - Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. - Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. - Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards. - Lead annual budgeting processes and monitor financial performance against targets. - Implement cost control measures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. - Establish internal control systems to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks. - Regularly review potential risks and provide mitigation plans. - Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to support business needs and growth. - Foster cross-departmental collaboration and continuous learning within the team. - Be proactive in learning and adapting to new financial models, technologies, and business environments as the company expands. - Take on new responsibilities, projects, and tasks to support the company’s evolving needs, including potential IPO preparations, mergers & acquisitions, or new business ventures. Job Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in the e-commerce, fintech, digital payments, or related industries. - Proven experience in setting up entities overseas and managing cross-border financial operations. - Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) is preferred. - Fluent in written and verbal communication skills for BM, English and Mandarin. - Strong knowledge of corporate finance, tax planning, cash flow management, and international financial regulations. - Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail. - Willing to relocate or be based in Sitiawan, Perak HQ, and open to travel as required. - Growth mindset, open to learning, and ready to handle new challenges as the company expands.
