JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We as a People (HR) team put the employee at the heart of everything we design and deliver, rapidly prototyping solutions, and making decisions based on real data and insights. You’ll be joining the Learning & Talent team, which aims to develop engaging learning experiences to bring out the best in our people, as it’s our people that make Astro Malaysia’s leading entertainment company.
As one of the members of the team, you will support the Learning & Talent team in delivering high-quality training and development programs. This role involves coordinating training sessions, managing learning resources, and assisting with talent development initiatives to help the company achieve its vision of being Malaysia’s No. 1 Entertainment Destination.
Your key responsibilities
Learning & Development Administration
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions and workshops including applying for e-visitor, arranging food & beverage for trainings.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of training sessions.
  • Maintain and update training materials, resources, and databases.
  • Assist in drafting and distributing communications related to training programs and talent initiatives.
  • Track and report on training attendance, completion rates, and evaluation.
  • Support financial administration, including invoice requisition forms and monthly levy reports.
  • Support Human Resource Development Corporation administration, such as grant applications, levy payments, and JD14 forms.
  • Assist in eLearning Onboarding administrative updates, and site maintenance.
  • Oversee the learning facility management by keeping all resources, like equipment and technology, in good condition and finding ways to improve operations for a better learning environment
Young Talents, Interns and Scholars Management
  • Assist in the planning and execution of talent development and engagement events.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as filing, record-keeping, and responding to inquiries.
REQUIREMENTS:
Your qualification and skills
  • Final year students in related field of bachelor’s degree such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology etc.
  • Strong sense of teamwork. Able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work together in a project or team environment.
  • Detailed oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven talent decisions.
  • Driven by progress and genuinely collaborating with others to make it happen.
  • A mindset that embraces curiosity and learning of all kinds and is open to being wrong and failing in the pursuit of learning.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
