Royal Selangor is seeking interns to join our Legal and Risk Management team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in compliance practices. This internship spans 3 - 6 months at Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.
About the internship:
During the internship period, you will be exposed to and learn the following:
- Assist with retail spot checks to identify non-compliance practices and potential process weaknesses.
- Assist with audit assessments to identify high-risk areas and recommend corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
- Review all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure internal controls are in place to mitigate potential risks.
- Review various types of agreements and business contracts.
- Assist in resolving issues and responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Analyse retail inventory discrepancies and prepare reports with corrective action plans.
- Prepare documentation and maintain proper filing systems.
Requirements:
- Candidates who possess or are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel and Word.
- The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and unbiased in their work.
- Other skills: Communications and report writing.

Pay: RM700.00 - RM800.00 per month
