  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Royal Selangor is seeking interns to join our Legal and Risk Management team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in compliance practices. This internship spans 3 - 6 months at Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.

About the internship:

During the internship period, you will be exposed to and learn the following:

  • Assist with retail spot checks to identify non-compliance practices and potential process weaknesses.
  • Assist with audit assessments to identify high-risk areas and recommend corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
  • Review all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure internal controls are in place to mitigate potential risks.
  • Review various types of agreements and business contracts.
  • Assist in resolving issues and responding to regulatory inquiries.
  • Analyse retail inventory discrepancies and prepare reports with corrective action plans.
  • Prepare documentation and maintain proper filing systems.

Requirements:

  • Candidates who possess or are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and unbiased in their work.
  • Other skills: Communications and report writing.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM700.00 - RM800.00 per month
