Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and drive software and IT product sales in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accelerating sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key client relationships in the Malaysian market. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in software sales and IT solutions, offering an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Design and implement effective sales strategies specifically for software and IT products to meet company objectives and drive revenue growth in the Malaysian market.
  • Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities, focusing on prospective clients in need of innovative software solutions and IT services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the software and IT industries, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand the evolving trends in software and IT solutions, identifying new opportunities and challenges in the market to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, tracking performance, KPIs, and forecasts to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with company targets.
  • Product Expertise: Showcase deep knowledge of the company's software products and IT solutions, positioning them effectively to clients, and providing technical assistance during the sales process.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software sales or IT sales management, with a proven ability to drive sales and meet targets in the software or IT industry.
  • Market Expertise: In-depth understanding of the software market, IT sales, industry trends, key players, and competitive dynamics in the Malaysian market.
  • Skills:
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to align sales strategies to market needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building trust-based client relationships.
  • Result-driven, with a strong focus on achieving business objectives and revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with Telecom domain, IoT, Enterprise IT, and Unified Communications solutions will be advantageous.
