Key responsibilities include:

  • Account Management:
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts within the territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each key account's needs.
  • Regularly engage with key decision-makers at accounts to understand their needs, address concerns, and promote companyproducts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with key accounts in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Sales Performance:
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned key accounts.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and optimize sales strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of company product portfolio, including their therapeutic benefits, indications, and clinical data.
  • Provide comprehensive product training to key account stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on latest medical advancements and regulatory changes impacting the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Customer Relationship Building:
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with key healthcare professionals and decision-makers within accounts.
  • Actively listen to customer feedback and incorporate it into account planning and product development strategies.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and provide timely solutions.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Regularly report on account performance, sales trends, and market insights to senior management.
  • Utilize sales data to identify areas for improvement and adjust account strategies accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, ideally with a focus on key account management.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute effective account plans.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Strong compliance ethics and adherence to company policies
