Job Title: Mechanic (Automotive)
Department: After Sales / Workshop
Location: DMMS Pasir Mas
Reports To: Service Advisor / Workshop Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To perform maintenance, inspection, and repair work on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to ensure repairs are completed properly.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.
  • Keep work area clean and organized; properly handle tools and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous training to keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in automotive repair or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with vehicles (e.g., Perodua, Daihatsu, Toyota, etc.).
  • Possession of a valid driving license (Class D).

Job Types: Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,700.19 - RM2,000.60 per month
