Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in achieving the company goals by ensuring that the projects assigned are completed and accepted in accordance to company expectations and achieving customer satisfaction. He shall plan, monitor and control the project deliverables and manage resources assigned to meet the project objectives. We are looking for a person who possesses the following attributes and requirements. Attributes: - Result-oriented and able to handle cross-disciplinary projects. - Independent and a team player. - Good leadership and organization skills - Meticulous but is also able to see the overview of work assigned. - Strong analytical skills. - Self-motivated and able to handle stress to meet deadlines in a challenging environment. - Able to communicate effectively and at all levels. Requirements: - Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or in a relevant discipline, with PMP certification. - At least 8 years of experiences managing projects in the Telecommunications and Data Centres with at least 3 years in a managerial position. - Possess knowledge and experiences in the technical field of power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems. - Familiar with software technologies like Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), or Electrical Power Management System (EPMS), or analytics software packages and cybersecurity. - Strong project management skills include planning and scheduling, allocating resources, cost control, and ensuring proper and efficient billing - Significant experience in successfully delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment. - Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects. - Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. - Proven track record leading projects and helping team to achieve goals. - Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and decisions. - Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships. - Good negotiation skills with excellent communications skills both verbal and written. - Competence in Microsoft Project, Office and AutoCad. Responsibilities: - Manage cross-disciplinary projects within agreed time, cost and quality, - Manage, plan and assigned resources effectively for the project. - Prepare schedules, MOP, RA and all related documents for the project. - Prepare and submit progress reports daily, weekly or when needed. - Manage and ensure project billing and costing are within targets, highlighting variances and risks with follow up actions and solutions as necessary. - Perform post-mortem after the completion of project to identify the areas for improvement.
