Workshop Supervisor

Supervising Daily Workshop Operations Oversee day-to-day activities in the workshop, including repair, maintenance, and servicing work. Assign tasks and monitor the performance of technicians and mechanics. Team Management Lead, train, and motivate workshop staff to ensure high productivity and quality workmanship. Ensure discipline, safety, and good teamwork among workshop employees. Maintenance Scheduling Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repair work for vehicles or machinery. Minimize downtime by ensuring timely service and repair. Quality Control & Inspection Check and approve completed work to ensure it meets technical standards. Diagnose faults and provide technical guidance where needed. Inventory and Parts Management Monitor and manage workshop tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory. Request parts in advance to avoid delays in repair work. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily or weekly reports on work progress, completed jobs, downtime, and resource usage. Maintain records of services, repairs, and inspections. Health & Safety Compliance Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company safety policies and legal regulations. Conduct safety briefings and enforce use of PPE. Customer Coordination (if applicable) Communicate with customers or project managers regarding job status, cost estimation, and timelines. Handle complaints or feedback in a professional manner.
