Mould setup buy-off 1.1 Perform parts inspection submitted by mould setter 1.2 Prepare buy-off sample to hang at machine 1.3 Consult QC Supervisor and seek for approval if quality is ambiguous 1.4 Record the inspection result in appropriate report 2. Production line patrolling 2.1 Perform parts inspection at production line 2.2 Monitor the parts quality stability 2.3 If quality is not consistent during production and the mould setter cannot resolve the problem, IPQC will request the Tool Maker and Production Supervisor to come to the machine for an ad-hoc meeting to decide on the next course of action 2.4 Make sure production operation is according to PCP and work instruction 2.5 Record the inspection result in IPIR (IPQC Inspection Record) 2.6 Verify rejected raw material to be returned to store when required 2.7 Ensure that all production WIPs must have a product ID with quality status. If the parts need to be segregated for further rework, it must be tagged with red ID.
