Job Summary:

This role will assist in overseeing the day-to-day security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of all personnel, equipment, and assets on-site. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring, reporting, and responding to security incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and supervising security personnel on construction sites.
  • Monitor access control and ensure compliance with site security protocols.
  • Conduct regular patrols to inspect and secure designated areas.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, assessing and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with contractors, site managers, and stakeholders to address security concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of security operations and incidents.
  • Assist in training and mentoring security staff on procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports on security breaches or incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or in a similar role, with at least 1 year or more, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of computer usage for reporting and documentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic environments.
  • Strong teamwork and a team-oriented spirit.
  • Takes responsibility seriously and demonstrates reliability in handling security matters.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus).
  • Physically fit and capable of performing security duties effectively.
