The Administration and Account Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the administrative and financial operations of the institution. This position involves managing day-to-day office tasks, assisting with financial record-keeping, and ensuring smooth communication between departments, staff, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters.
- Maintain and organize office records, files, and documents.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring proper coordination.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Handle inquiries from students, parents, and staff professionally.
- Accounting Duties:
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately.
- Maintain financial records and assist in preparing budgets.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding billing and payments.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administrative and/or accounting roles, preferably in the education sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with educational management systems or software.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This role is based in an educational institution, requiring interaction with students, parents, and staff. The candidate should be adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
