Main Duties & Responsibilities • General o Ensures all guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately adhering to the hotel’s general guidelines for service recovery. o Ensures all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards. o Conducts daily shift briefings. o Ensures that all team members under your supervision are well training and productively assigned daily job task. o Ensures all team members are provided with consistent On-the-job training and other relevant trainings. o Follows up on work and maintains logbook. o Knows and strictly follows all established cleaning procedures. o Prepares Room/Public Area crew work assignment sheet. o Reports Monthly Chemical consumption, Monthly Guest Supplies and Amenities usage. o Knows how to operate/use available Housekeeping machinery’s and chemicals according to established standards. o Ensures all Front of House and Back of House areas are well maintained, clean and tidy at all times. o Conducts Quality Room/Public Areas Inspections. o Maintains proper par stock of inventory items. o Reports all maintenance deficiencies immediately. o Assist in other sections of Housekeeping department as and went required based on business needs. • Rooms o Coordinates with Front Desk concerning room status and others. o Ensure the following procedures are implemented according to standards: Key Procedure DND (Do Not Disturb)/Double Locked Baby Sitting Room Discrepancy Lost & Found Room Safety Deposit Box Loan Item Loss & Breakage Pest Control Defect Item o Updates room status into Opera or Hotel’s PMS. o Conducts Linen Inventory in pantry. • Responds to special requests from guests such as extra bed, baby cot, iron etc. o Assists where necessary with the making up of rooms and turndown service. o Coordinates pantry and trolley set-up. • Linen & Uniforms o Knows and strictly follows the step-by-step procedure of wardrobe and linen exchange. o Conducts Linen and Uniform Inventory. o Checks the condition of all Uniforms and Linen. Repair/discard any damaged Uniforms and Linen. o Ensures the stock for Uniforms and Linen is adequate. o Ensures regular maintenance of the sewing machine
