Job Description & Requirements FinSurge is undertaking a major multi-year Murex upgrade programme with the objective of replacing Murex 2.11 system with Murex 3.1 with a new Front to back platform for treasury businesses. The key elements of the programme are:  Migrating existing trades  Keep the functionalities intact  Automate the existing process  Improve and optimize the existing process  Improve and optimize the migration process  Provide scalable and flexible solutions The Murex Environment Consultant will assist in delivering this program by : - Experience in configuring and understanding of Murex Environment for 2.11 and 3.11 and analyze the migration impact, configure and test the following: - Expected to have a good understanding of environments & technical components of the MX.3 module and its capabilities: - Very good experience and knowledge about Murex middleware services and their communications. - Building and configuring Murex and interface environments - configurations import and exports and their processes - Interaction between workflows- - Linux and Oracle DB and minimum level of DBA experience - Design and Implementation of environments in MX.3 - Optimization and fine-tuning of Environments Must-Have:  Hands-on experience in building Murex 2.11 and 3.11 applications  Experience in managing environments Murex 3.1 with more than 2 to 5 years of experience is required  Good understanding and working experience of designing and implementing middleware services:  Experience in SIT and UAT MX 2.11, MX3 Murex environments and their process  Understanding the differences between Mx 2.11 and Mx 3.1 environments  Basic Knowledge dynamic tables, pre and post filters, feeders, batch of feeders, extractions, reporting tables, and processing scripts  Good Shell scripting and SQL codes  Optimization of Murex environments  Ability to work proactively, independently when necessary and displays strong initiative.  Multicultural awareness.  Strong communication and presentation skills, with an excellent standard of English (written and spoken).  Excellent team player  Agile, Jira and Confluence working experience Preferred:  Experience on different versions of Murex environments 2.11 and 3.1  Basic knowledge of murex applications  Query: Oracle/SQL/PLSQL/Hibernate SQL  good knowledge to Java/Linux/Unix/Basic Shell Scripting  Displays personal authority, value, integrity, and ethics.
