Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain up-to-date records of AR transactions
  • Assist in preparing AR aging reports and cash flow projections

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and proper authorization
  • Perform timely payments to suppliers via various methods (cheque, EFT, etc.)
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address any issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end AP closing procedures

General Duties:

  • Support the finance team with daily accounting tasks
  • Assist with account reconciliations and data entry
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date files for audit and compliance
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in a similar role (internships or part-time roles acceptable)
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software and ERP system is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Degree, Advanced Degree.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, optionally Mandarin.
