  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

BHD. seeks a PRECISION TURNING MACHINIST EXPERT to help design test our planned upcoming projects with create dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development. • Operate CNC turning centers with multi-axis and live tooling capabilities. • Program CNC turning machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM software • Interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models to determine machining strategies. • Set up and align CNC lathes with sub-spindles, Y-axis, and bar feeders. • Use probing cycles for in-process part measurement and tool wear compensation. • Perform rigid tapping, threading, grooving, and deep hole boring on CNC lathes. • Develop custom post-processors for integration with CAD/CAM systems. • Design and fabricate custom fixtures and jigs for high-volume precision turning. • Apply advanced turning techniques like polygon turning, hard turning, or simultaneous turning. • Integrate machine learning-based tool life prediction methods. • Calibrate and maintain CNC turning machines to ensure repeatability and accuracy. • Operate and interpret results from precision measuring instruments • Select optimal cutting tools, inserts, speeds, and feeds for exotic materials • Perform precision turning within tight tolerances • Use parametric programming and macros to streamline repetitive part production. • Create digital twins of turning operations for offline simulation. • Apply knowledge of cutter compensation, tool radius offsets, and work coordinate systems • Use sub-programming techniques for complex part families. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. • Conduct time studies and recommend cycle time reduction strategies. • Monitor tool wear and establish tool presetting strategies. • Maintain ISO 9001 or AS9100 machining quality standards. • Troubleshoot machine alarms, spindle errors, and control logic issues. • Manage tool inventory and recommend cost-effective tooling solutions. • Implement lights-out machining using automation and bar feeders. • Develop machining standards and best practice guidelines. • Represent the machining department in customer quality audits. • Stay updated with industry advancements in CNC turning and automation.
