Electrical Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for operation and maintenance of all electrical machineries, facilities and equipment within company’s premises and jurisdiction. • Ensuring that all electrical equipment and appliances are kept in good operating condition and unscheduled shutdown are kept to minimum. • Maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical and mechanical equipment’s available in the plant to maintain uninterrupted operation. • Update and maintain records/reports systematically according to discipline. • Develop maintenance data for incorporation into Master Maintenance plan. • Review of maintenance spare parts and raise requisitions for purchase. • Develop maintenance strategies and work instructions for all equipment. • Ensuring that all safety and firefighting equipment are kept in good operating condition at all times. To carry out regular testing on all safety devices and alarm system. • To plan and implement systematic inventory system for spares, tools and consumable material at optimum level so as to avoid hindrance to port operations. • Liaison with Government agencies, local authorities and statutory bodies pertaining to maintenance and engineering matters. • Liaison with local contractors and vendors pertaining to maintenance, engineering and procurement matters. • Plan, schedule and implement preventive maintenance system on all company equipment.
