About the Role
- Promote and enforce all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety programs, emergency response plans, and training initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and employees to promote a strong safety culture.
- Provide regular reports and insights on site safety performance, compliance status, and areas for improvement.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management to support business objectives.
About You
- Possess a valid Green and Yellow Book issued by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Malaysia).
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in site safety, preferably within the construction or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Proficient in developing and implementing site-specific safety programs, emergency response plans, and safety training.
