Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

About the role Reporting to the Senior Assistant Warehouse Manager, this full-time Assistant Warehouse Supervisor role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and oversee the smooth running of the warehouse operations in NORTH PORT KLANG, Selangor. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, from inventory control and stock management to the supervision of the warehouse team. What you'll be doing • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure the efficient flow of goods, materials and resources • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement • Supervise, train and motivate the warehouse team to maximise productivity and efficiency • Manage inventory control, including stock takes, stock rotation and stock replenishment • Liaise with other departments to coordinate logistics and distribution schedules • Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues in the warehouse operations • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices • Analyse warehouse data and generate reports for business decisions What we're looking for • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar warehouse management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail • Proficient in inventory management, stock control and warehouse operations • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and data analysis tools • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Must be willing to work in North Port Klang
