PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES To maintain a friendly, neat and pleasant image to guest. To provide courteous service to guests and respond promptly and tactfully to guests' enquires, complaints and requests. To be responsible for cleaning occupied rooms and vacant rooms including the side duties according to the hotel standard by performing such duties as: • Making of beds; • Cleaning of bathrooms which includes toilet bowls, bathtubs and wash basins, mirrors, shower curtains, floors and wall tiles; • Dusting furniture and fittings; • Vacuuming carpets, upholstery and furnishing. • Changing towels, replenishing supplies such as matches, soaps, stationeries, toilet paper and facial tissue, etc • Emptying and cleaning waste baskets, ashtrays; • Refilling ice bucket with ice cubes; • Cleaning drinking glasses; • Cleaning closet doors, walls, ceilings, air-con, vents, windows and mirrors, vacuuming and changing bedcovers whenever necessary. To make room checks and fill room reports. To render personal assistance to guests, such as dispatching guests' laundry, assisting in packing an unpacking, etc. To check and report maintenance and repairs requests. To remove room service trays from rooms for collection by room service personnel. To check and report mini-bar stock. To keep linen room, supply racks and service areas neat and clean at all times. To carry out turn down service in the nighttime. To undertake special request made by guests. To inform the laundry department and collect guest's clothing for laundry, dry-cleaning or pressing. To take occupancy checks and fill room reports. To check and petrol guest floors. To comply with all M&C Hotel Group policies and procedures.
