To plan, implement, maintain, and support robust IT infrastructure systems to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and business operations. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing the company’s network, server systems, hardware, and production-related IT systems with a strong focus on operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and system uptime. Key Responsibilities: • Infrastructure Management - Install, configure, and maintain servers (physical and virtual), networks, storage, and other critical infrastructure systems. - Monitor performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and security across the entire plant including the production floor (e.g., SMT Lines, PCBA). - Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, file servers, email systems, and backups. • Network & Cybersecurity - Ensure the plant's network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN) supports stable and secure connectivity across all departments including production and secondary processes. - Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection systems. - Conduct risk assessments, patch management, and incident response. • System Support & Troubleshooting - Provide 2nd/3rd level support for users, including engineering, manufacturing, and administrative departments. - Resolve infrastructure-related incidents within defined SLAs, especially for systems linked to automated manufacturing, SMT/UMS setups, and ERP/MES. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the setup and operation of SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) lines and UMS (Unified Manufacturing Systems). - Collaborate with production teams to integrate IT infrastructure into manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth operation of SMT PCBA lines. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCBA production lines, UMS, and related IT systems. • System Optimization & Efficiency: - Continuously analyze the IT infrastructure for areas of improvement to ensure that all systems are operating at maximum efficiency. - Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and other system optimizations as required. - Collaborate with the IT team and external vendors to implement new technologies and enhance existing systems. - Oversee system monitoring tools, alerting the team to any failures or issues promptly. • Implementation - Participate in new system rollouts (e.g., MES, SCADA, UMS), factory expansions, and infrastructure upgrades. - Collaborate with our HQ in China and other global teams to align with global IT strategies and standards. • Collaboration with Teams: - Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure IT systems align with the company’s manufacturing and assembly processes. - Provide training and support to staff to maximize efficiency in the use of IT systems and software. • Compliance & Documentation - Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and manufacturing regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). - Maintain documentation for configurations, network diagrams, standard procedures, and change logs.
