Location: Client Site and Office Job Type: Contract Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM (Monday to Sunday, rotational shifts) No. of Vacancies: Multiple positions available Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled L2 Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for industrial remote monitoring and diagnostics systems. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure and edge devices to ensure seamless operation of critical monitoring platforms. • Join a dynamic team supporting a global fleet of industrial assets (including gas turbines, compressors, and generators). • Competitive contract terms with performance-based incentives. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Support • Manage and resolve tickets for incidents, changes, and infrastructure issues. • Troubleshoot platform issues related to databases, web services, and network infrastructure. • Monitor data transfer from sites and resolve connectivity or data delay issues. • Communicate proactively with stakeholders for critical/high-priority issues. • Support monitoring platforms and related tools across various environments. Edge Devices Configuration & Maintenance • Pre-configure and harden monitoring devices and gateways. • Install/configure data acquisition software and industrial security appliances. • Perform firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and patch management. • Troubleshoot HW/SW issues and ensure data acquisition quality. • Maintain documentation for configurations and releases. Security & Compliance • Implement patch management (OS, antivirus, industrial software). • Support cybersecurity protocols, including access controls and threat remediation. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 3+ years in L2 technical support (industrial automation, IT/OT infrastructure, or remote monitoring). • Technical Must-Haves: o VMware/Windows Server administration. o Networking (VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules). o Industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus) and hardware (OSM/IIoT gateways). o Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow). • Nice-to-Haves: o Scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation. o Certifications: CCNA, ITIL, or cybersecurity-related.
