  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.

Assist the R&D Manager in the following areas:

  • Coordinating audit schedules and leading audit processes with external parties, including clients’ QA departments, the Ministry of Health, NPRA, and the Department of Veterinary Services.
  • Liaising with overseas regulatory bodies.
  • Managing the application and renewal of MAL numbers, Certificates of Free Sale, and Food Classification Letters from the Ministry of Health for both existing and newly developed products.
  • Handling the application and renewal of HALAL certification with JAKIM for existing and new R&D products.
  • Acting as a liaison with the Ministry of Health on matters related to product registration and GMP license renewal.
  • Keeping up to date with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as those related to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP standards, and nutraceutical manufacturing.
  • Advising the R&D team on the use of new and existing ingredients in accordance with the latest regulations.
  • Developing and implementing compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborating with internal departments, such as Quality Assurance and Production, to gather required documentation for compliance purposes.

2. HALAL Compliance

  • Ensuring that all aspects of the supply chain adhere to HALAL standards.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of ingredients, suppliers, and manufacturing processes for HALAL compliance.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability and usage of HALAL-certified raw materials and ingredients.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology / Chemistry
  • 2 years R&D experience in any food manufacturing company
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Possess own transport
  • Proven experience in research and product development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects effectively
