Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Management Plan, manage, and execute all mechanical engineering projects. Define project scope, schedule, deliverables, and resource needs. Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure timely project delivery. Mechanical Design & Engineering Develop initial design concepts and detailed engineering drawings. Perform design validation, simulations, and calculations as required. Review and revise designs based on project needs and client feedback. Cost Estimation & Budget Control Conduct material take-offs and estimate manufacturing and project costs. Prepare technical proposals, cost breakdowns, and quotations. Monitor actual project costs and work to maintain cost efficiency. Manufacturing Coordination Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure parts are made to spec. Support in resolving technical issues during machining, assembly, or testing. Review quality checks, machining tolerances, and ensure product conformance. Supplier & Vendor Management Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, and services. Review technical specs with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain good relationships with key vendors and subcontractors. Client Communication & Technical Support Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates. Present technical proposals, answer client inquiries, and provide after-sales support. Ensure alignment between client expectations and final deliverables. Documentation & Reporting Maintain proper documentation for design files, project logs, and procurement records. Prepare project progress reports and presentations for management/client. Support in preparing QA/QC documents, test reports, and certificates.
