Job Summary
If you are a Sales professional, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. The Sales Manager (MSOL Product) will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the sales team within the central region. This role involves developing and driving sales strategies, building positive relationships with clients, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Performance Management: Set clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each Central Region sales representative, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives. Monitor and evaluate team performance through data-driven methods, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the MSOL Product tailored to the central region’s market dynamics. Drive the execution of sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. Produce monthly forecasts and monitor performance against budget
- Collaboration : Work with account managers and internal teams to develop strategic plans for key accounts. Align product offerings with market demand.
- Product Expertise : Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and how they address customer needs.
- Market Research : Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Inform product development and marketing strategies
- Market Insights : Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
Who You Are:
You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You identify and seize new opportunities. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in Instrumentation / process applications, project and service sales.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electric and Electronic/Chemical Engineering/Instrumentation or other relevant technical field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Determined attitude and outstanding perseverance.
- Comfortable with change and able to succeed in uncertainty.
- Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in business development and sales.
- Proven sales management background in automation products.
