  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Contract Procurement Data Analyst

Oil & Gas Industry - Upstream Data (Shell)

Wisma Shell, Cyberjaya, Selangor

Work Hour: Mon - Fri = 9am to 6pm

RM3000 - RM 3200 per month

Preferred: Min 1 -2 years experience in Master Data

1 Year Contract

Competency Required:

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge and understanding of master data and data structure in Vendor process, strong communication skills, with advance skills in data analytics, and excellent proficiency in Excel functions.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to provide key improvement plans and ideas to improve data quality, and ability to provide actionable insights through data analysis and based on findings and observation from the master data.
  • The successful candidate will need to be proactive, be able to quickly build up the business knowledge, resolve issues with limited guidance and work independently, and possess a strong drive to deliver and contribute to the project deliverables.
  • Willingness to learn and enthusiasm are key for a successful interpretation of this opportunity.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills will be crucial.

Other requirements:

  • Degree, preferably a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistic
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in data analysis
  • Open for fresh graduate
  • Understanding of data processing and analysis techniques, especially quantitative.
  • Strong statistical skills Strong analytical skills and ability to see patterns and opportunities for data use and ability to drive data into action experience in systems design and/or understanding of vendor master data structure preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in using business intelligence tools, advanced skills in Ms Excel

Job Type: Contract
