Role Purpose

• Catering Logistic Operator is responsible for promoting and delivering safe, timely and efficient ground handling services including operating all ground equipment to our contractual customer airlines. This is to be carried out in accordance with AeroDarat, regulatory department and customer airlines policies, standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreement (SLA). At all times, this position is required to work in a safe, secure, professional, cost-effective manner whilst ensuring all assets are handled with care.

Key Accountability

• All items loaded into a designated storage location in the aircraft as per cart, SU, blanket, pillow & loading manual.
• Operate Hi-Lift/Van to transport food items between MCAT and aircraft
• Load and off-load food carts between MCAT OUTBOUND/OUTBOUND and catering vehicles.
• Load in-flight meals onto the aircraft in accordance with cabin loading plans
• Handover & acceptance of catering items by Cabin Crew
• Comply to the safety & security of Hi-lift equipment e.g., lashing, carts, SU
• Before opening a cabin door, the Hi-lift operator shall ensure that there is no cabin crew and/or Ground Engineer in the vicinity of the door.
• Before closing a door, the Hi-lift operator shall look out for any possible obstructions around the door area that may hinder the closure of the door or may cause damage to the door.
• Handover process & acceptance between MAS Awana & ADS
• All items to be uplifted per checklist – correct item & quantity
• Ensure all specialised equipment is in serviceable status to be deploy to operations
• Ensure all specialised equipment is well maintained for hygiene and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by superior and management

Qualification & Work Experience

Skill & Knowledge

• Average command of writing and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Required to attend all regulatory and mandatory training as per AeroDarat Training Manual (TGM).
• Operate Hi-Lift catering Truck
• Understand basic catering operation
• Understand Ramp Operation
