Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to assist with Debtors Management, a key focus area currently prioritized by the Board. This internship offers hands-on experience in accounts receivable, financial record-keeping, and debtor follow-ups—playing a crucial role in supporting our organization's cash flow and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking and managing outstanding customer accounts.
- Generate and review aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
- Follow up with clients via email or phone regarding outstanding payments.
- Update and maintain accurate records of communications and payment commitments.
- Support the Finance team in reconciling debtor accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly debtors reports for management review.
- Work with other departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service) to resolve invoicing or billing discrepancies.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance debt recovery procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance department as needed.

- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity and confidentiality.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
