Skill : Description
Control-M : Experience in scheduling, managing, and monitoring batch jobs using
Control-M.
AS400 : Proficient in managing and supporting AS400 systems, including troubleshooting and job monitoring.
Mainframe : Expertise in supporting mainframe applications and systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Geneos: Familiarity with Geneos for monitoring and alerting for application and system performance.
Splunk : Experience with Splunk for log management, troubleshooting, and analyzing application logs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsibility :: Weightage (%) :: Description
Application Support & Issue Resolution :: 35% :: Provide L2 support for application issues, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to AS400, Mainframe, and Control-M jobs.
Batch Job Monitoring (Control-M) :: 25% :: Monitor, manage, and resolve issues related to batch job schedules using Control-M, ensuring jobs are processed as expected.
System Monitoring & Performance :: 20% :: Use tools like Geneos and Splunk to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime for critical applications.
Incident & Problem Management :: 10% :: Handle incident and problem management, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical issues.
Documentation & Reporting :: 10% :: Create and maintain operational documentation, reports, and knowledge base for support processes, including incident logs and resolution steps.
