Job Description – Tourism Supervisor Position: Tourism Supervisor Department: Tourism & Hospitality Location: Cameron Highland Reports to: Tourism Manager Objective: The Tourism Supervisor is responsible for overseeing tourism activities, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences, and managing operations related to guided tours, customer service, and hospitality within the company’s tourism sector. Key Responsibilities: Tour Operations Management: Oversee daily tourism activities, including guided tours and visitor experiences. Plan and coordinate tour schedules, special events, and promotional activities. Ensure all tours are conducted in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Customer Experience & Hospitality: Provide high-quality customer service and address visitor inquiries or concerns. Ensure guests have a memorable experience by delivering engaging and informative tours. Collect customer feedback and implement improvements based on insights. Team Supervision & Training: Supervise tour guides and frontline staff to ensure professionalism and efficiency. Conduct training programs to enhance team knowledge and customer interaction skills. Schedule and assign duties to staff to ensure smooth operations. Sales & Marketing Support: Assist in promoting tourism packages, ticket sales, and special offers. Work with the marketing team to develop tourism-related content and campaigns. Participate in tourism expos, trade shows, and promotional events as needed. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in tourism areas. Monitor maintenance of tourism facilities and equipment. Handle emergency situations and incidents professionally. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum [X] years of experience in a supervisory role within the tourism or hospitality industry. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays. Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
