Job Title: Teashop (F&B) Supervisor Department: Food & Beverage Location: Cameron Highland Reports To: Teashop Manager / Operations Manager Job Summary: The Teashop (F&B) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality control, and managing staff within the teashop. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations Management Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Monitor inventory levels, stock ordering, and waste management to minimize costs. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, Halal, and local regulations). Oversee cleanliness and organization of the teashop, including kitchen and dining areas. 2. Customer Service & Experience Ensure excellent customer service by training staff on hospitality and handling customer concerns professionally. Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback efficiently. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with recommendations. 3. Staff Management & Training Supervise and coordinate team members, ensuring all shifts are covered adequately. Conduct onboarding and continuous training for staff on service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols. Motivate and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching when necessary. Enforce company policies and disciplinary measures when required. 4. Sales & Financial Management Assist in achieving sales targets and implementing promotional activities. Handle daily cash flow management, ensure proper cash handling procedures, and reconcile daily sales reports. Monitor and control costs related to food, labor, and overhead expenses. 5. Compliance & Safety Ensure all employees comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct routine inspections for food handling, equipment maintenance, and overall hygiene compliance. Assist in conducting audits and ensuring all licensing requirements are met. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in F&B, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and customer service best practices. Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
