WAITER/WAITRESS

A Waiter/Waitress at a food court is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. They take orders, serve food and beverages, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, and able to multitask while delivering a positive experience to customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service: • Greet customers as they arrive and provide them with the menu. • Answer customer questions about the menu, ingredients, and dietary restrictions. • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. • Provide recommendations on food and drinks based on customer preferences. • Ensure that orders are delivered to customers in a timely and friendly manner. 2. Order Management: • Input orders into the system or relay them to the kitchen staff. • Ensure all orders are correct before serving and follow up with customers as needed. • Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner. • Process customer payments, including cash and card transactions. 3. Cleanliness & Organization: • Maintain cleanliness of dining tables, chairs, and the surrounding area. • Clear away dirty dishes, utensils, and glasses from tables promptly. • Ensure the food court area is tidy and presentable at all times. • Refill condiments, napkins, and other customer needs as required. 4. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations. • Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area at the beginning and end of shifts. • Support colleagues during busy periods by assisting with food delivery and customer needs. 5. Health & Safety: • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure customer and food safety. • Handle food and beverages according to safety regulations and standards.
