JOB DESCRIPTION: - Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards. - Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols. - Facilitate safety training sessions and drills for all site personnel. - Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions. - Develop and implement traffic management plans for the site, ensuring safe and efficient vehicular and pedestrian flow. - Monitor traffic conditions and make adjustments to traffic plans as necessary to minimize congestion and enhance safety. - Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders regarding traffic control measures during construction activities. - Supervise traffic control personnel and ensure they are trained and equipped to manage site traffic effectively. - Develop and implement emergency response plans specific to site conditions and traffic scenarios. - Act as a point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with emergency services and ensuring swift action is taken. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. - Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, Traffic Management, First Aid/CPR). - Proven experience in safety management and traffic control within construction or industrial environments. - Strong knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and risk assessment procedures.
