Teacher - ( Biology & Chemistry )

To teach the allocated subject/s as assigned from time to time. To guide students academically to achieve desired/targeted learning objectives and appropriate exam results. To nurture curiosity about natural processes and establish an understanding amongst students. Develop enquiry-based investigation skills among students. To teach and improve question-solving skills as a preparation for assessment and examinations. To prepare students to take board exams with confidence. To nurture good manners and respect among students. To guide students on any academic, social, or personal issues as experienced. To monitor, correct and act on student's disciplinary problems. To update daily subject-based attendances for the students. To carry out any other teacher's duty as per the teacher's handbook. To coordinate, implement, assist and complement all other programmes, activities & ad-hoc projects set by School, the principal and superiors from time to time. To perform relief for teachers who are on leave, absent or MC. To complete all post-relief-related tasks such as marking all the relief materials given to the students, discussing the answers with the students upon return, key in printing. To attend and participate in all School meetings and report any subject-related issues/problems to the Subject Lead/ Principal. To select and encourage students to participate in district/state/national/international level competitions. To undertake any other Academic related duty as assigned or instructed.
