Structural Autocab Draughts

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed structural drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD or other CAD software. This includes preparing drawings for structural elements such as beams, columns, foundations, walls, and other components based on engineering and architectural designs. • Interpretation of Designs: Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements to produce accurate and precise structural drawings. Understand and apply relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards in the drafting process. • Collaboration with Engineers and Architects: Work closely with structural engineers and architects to understand their design intent and incorporate it into the drawings. Collaborate on design modifications, clarify design requirements, and ensure that the drawings accurately represent the intended design. • 2D and 3D Modeling: Utilize AutoCAD to create both 2D and 3D models of structural elements. Develop detailed models to visualize and analyze structural components, identify clashes or conflicts, and assist in the design coordination process. • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including construction drawings, assembly drawings, reinforcement details, material specifications, and other related documents. Ensure that the drawings and documents comply with relevant standards and are updated as necessary. • Quality Control: Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications. Verify that the drawings are error-free, properly dimensioned, and comply with relevant codes and standards. • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, to exchange information, address design-related queries, and resolve issues or conflicts. Communicate effectively to ensure that all parties involved understand and can implement the drawings correctly.
