Public Relations Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Public Relations Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations, media relations, and communications strategies. The intern will assist with drafting press releases, creating media lists, monitoring press coverage, and supporting the PR team with campaign execution. Key responsibilities include assisting with the creation of PR materials, managing social media content, conducting media outreach, tracking and reporting on PR activities, and helping with event planning and coordination for press events or media outreach. The intern will also contribute to brand messaging and help ensure consistent communication with the public and media outlets.

The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding of social media platforms and digital communications. Experience with media relations, press releases, or content writing is a plus but not required. The ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines is crucial.
