Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Murex Developer to join our Global Market Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Murex-based solutions, particularly focusing on the End of Day (EOD) processing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Murex EOD, experience working with Control-M for job scheduling, and proficiency in SQL, Java, and Unix.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Murex EOD workflows, ensuring timely and accurate end-of-day processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Murex solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Utilize Control-M to schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot EOD jobs, ensuring minimal downtime and timely completion of processes.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases to extract, analyze, and manipulate data.
  • Develop scripts and automation solutions using Unix and Java to streamline EOD processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Murex EOD, ensuring quick resolution of production issues.
  • Assist in the deployment, testing, and support of Murex upgrades and patches.
  • Provide technical support during critical EOD processing windows, ensuring system stability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Murex Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Murex EOD (End of Day) processing.
  • Proficiency with Control-M or similar job scheduling tools.
  • Proficient in SQL, with experience in Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
  • Strong understanding of Unix scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Java for building custom solutions and enhancements.
  • Familiarity with the Windows 2012 operating system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, especially around EOD processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
