Intern Fashion Designer

We are seeking a motivated and creative Fashion Designer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with our design department to assist in the development of new textile patterns and designs. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the textile industry, design processes, and gain practical experience in a professional setting. Your primary responsibilities will include: Assist the design team in creating and modifying textile patterns, prints, and colourways. Conduct research on emerging design trends, materials, and technologies in the textile industry. Collaborate with the team to develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts. Create digital design mock-ups and presentations for client meetings. Assist in the preparation of sample production and quality control. Provide support in maintaining design documentation and sample libraries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts are translated effectively. Requirements Enrolment in or recent completion of a Diploma or Degree program in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen eye for colour, pattern, and texture. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. A passion for textiles and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
